Reviews for Destiny’s Curve

Goodreads.com rates Destiny’s Curve 4.48 out of 5 !

Review by Shuli Leonard  I enjoyed reading your book.  Your portrayal of a particular difficult time in your childhood is very honest and heartfelt.  The book truly portrays your fears, determination and heartache in dealing with scoliosis as a child.

Review by Dr. Robert Clark  Elaine is, as JFK wrote of heroes he admired, a “Profile of Courage”.  A courage not without fear, but one in spite of being afraid, fights on through agony of unimaginable suffering.  Anyone who has scoliosis is a hero, a paragon of virtue. Read “Destiny’s Curve” and be inspired!

Review by Betty Wiltshire, Pioneer Publishing Co.  Destiny’s Curve is a very enlightening insight into a young teens physical and emotional struggle to overcome a serious medical trauma at a time when teens just want to fit in. Elaine found the strength to deal with adversity and come out a winner.  Her book should be an inspiration to anyone dealing with difficult times to see there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Review by Ash “Ash”  Source: Amazon.com  Easy read; a great story that grabs the attention of teenagers and adults alike! What I loved most about the book is that despite the adversity that the author went through, the story ends with a very uplifting and inspiring message! This book isn’t just about scoliosis and depression; it’s about all ‘curves’ that life can throw our way! Still, it was amazing to read about life with scoliosis in the 60s… Definitely recommend it!

Review by georgiapeach Source: Amazon.com   Destiny’s Curve was a wonderful story. I had scoliosis and my experience was no where near what this girl went through. Thanks for sharing your life with me. I’ll recommend this book to all my friends.
